Roundtables, mixers, and warm introductions to the partners, investors, and government leaders who open doors on both continents.
About the Chamber
The Atlanta chapter of the US-Africa Chamber of Commerce connects American companies and the African diaspora to trade, investment, and partnership across the continent. We exist so that a first conversation in Atlanta can become a signed agreement in Lagos, Nairobi, or Accra.
Our mission
Plenty of organizations talk about the opportunity between the United States and Africa. Our job is narrower and more useful: put the right people in the same room, then help them do business.
That means warm introductions instead of cold lists, working groups instead of panels, and guidance from members who have already closed deals in the markets you are entering.
We serve two audiences at once: U.S. companies looking toward African markets, and African and diaspora entrepreneurs building in the United States. The bridge carries traffic in both directions.
Our story
Atlanta is home to one of the largest and most enterprising African diaspora communities in the United States. It is a logistics and corporate capital with the world's busiest airport, and a city whose business culture was built on opening doors. The US-Africa Chamber of Commerce planted its Atlanta chapter here because the bridge between American and African business already runs through this city; it just needed an institution to carry the load.
The timing matters. The African Continental Free Trade Area is knitting 54 economies into a single market of 1.4 billion people, and the African Growth and Opportunity Act keeps preferential access open to U.S. trade. The opportunity is no longer abstract. Our chapter exists to turn it into transactions, partnerships, and jobs on both sides of the Atlantic.
We are a member organization in the fullest sense. The agenda comes from the founders, executives, and professionals in the room, and the chapter's work is measured by what its members actually close.
What we do
Roundtables, mixers, and warm introductions to the partners, investors, and government leaders who open doors on both continents.
Trade missions, market-entry guidance, and advocacy that move deals from a first conversation to a signed agreement.
Speaking platforms, member spotlights, and brand visibility that put your work in front of the right audiences in the U.S. and across Africa.
How we work
The chapter agenda is set by what members need to grow, not by what looks good on a flyer.
We serve U.S. companies entering African markets and African founders building in the United States equally.
Every program is judged by a simple test: did it move a member closer to a real transaction.
Atlanta's African diaspora is our greatest asset. Their networks, judgment, and trust power the bridge.
Leadership
The Atlanta chapter is led by business owners, executives, and diaspora leaders who are active in U.S.–Africa commerce themselves. Leadership is not a title here; it is a working role, and the best way to meet the team is in the room.
Membership puts you inside the network that is building U.S.–Africa business from Atlanta.
