Why Atlanta. Why now.

The right city, at the right moment in U.S.–Africa trade.

Atlanta is home to one of the largest and most enterprising African diaspora communities in the United States, the world's busiest airport, and a corporate and logistics base that reaches the globe. It is the natural U.S. gateway to Africa.

At the same time, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is knitting 54 economies into a single market of 1.4 billion people, while the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) keeps preferential access open to U.S. trade. The opportunity has never been more concrete.
